Admission to The Clock Tower Schools
The Clock Tower Schools is a residential placement for males ages 14-18 referred by juvenile court or other appropriate social service agencies. The Clock Tower Schools provides the best possible care, education, and development for youth. Rooted in a Trauma-Informed Care modality, The Clock Tower Schools administration and staff recognize the prevalence and pervasive impact of trauma in the lives of the youth we serve. Through a trauma-sensitive lens, we are committed to providing a safe environment that supports the development of trauma-resistant skills and strategies, to address the elevated risk factors associated with trauma. The resulting environment is conducive to a high level of peer support- one that prioritizes empowerment ensures safety, establishes trustworthiness, encourages collaboration, and understands cultural differences.

PACTT AffiliatedClock Tower Schools is a PA Academic and Career/Technical Training (PACTT) Affiliate, reflecting our commitment to helping students build practical career skills alongside their education. Through career exploration, employability skills, and hands-on workforce training, students can begin preparing for meaningful employment and continued training after they leave CTS.

Admission Criteria
The Clock Tower Schools will consider candidates from agencies dealing with adolescent, adjudicated delinquent, and adjudicated dependent males between the ages of fourteen (14) and eighteen (18). As students are primarily committed forthwith by the court, pre-placement visits are not mandatory and are at the discretion of the Admissions Department. However, an interview with each student is required and an interview with the student's parent(s) / guardian is highly desirable. The Director of Admissions and the Admission Coordinators are responsible for deciding on the appropriateness of a referred candidate.
Referred youth and their parent(s)/guardian(s) will need to be interviewed by the appropriate jurisdictionally assigned Admissions Coordinator before being accepted for placement. The Clock Tower Schools maintains the right to review the appropriateness of each candidate on a case-by-case basis.

Virtual Tour
Welcome CenterAs students arrive at The Clock Tower Schools, they will be greeted at the Welcome Center, where trauma-informed student orientation will take place. Families are encouraged to be present for orientation so we can begin building trusting relationships from day one.

Pride HallAfter onboarding, new students will be welcomed for the first time into Pride Hall. Like the Welcome Center, Pride Hall is a positive environment where students will spend much of their time learning, growing, and socializing with their peers and staff members.
